As teenagers and young adults both Olga and Bill danced socially on opposite sides of the Atlantic without any formal structure. While Olga liked European dancing, Bill danced to Rock ‘n Roll. The only ingredient they had then was rhythm.

They were first introduced to Round Dancing in 1990. They enjoyed the dancing and traveling to specials, which eventually led to their assuming leadership of the largest club in Quebec. Olga and Bill are in their ninth year as leaders of the Montreal Melody Mixers where they have instilled a social atmosphere among their dancers. Currently, they run 4 classes weekly; Beginners, Easy Level, Intermediate & Advanced Level. Olga has Ballroom experience and won several medals in competition at Arthur Murray School of Dance.

In addition to teaching and cueing, they write and choreograph dances. You can see their long list of accomplishments.

They are members of Roundalab, URDC, DRDC, VARDL, Canadian Square & Round Dance Society and the province of Quebec Border Booster Square & Round Dance Association. Both are cuers and have performed at many affairs, dance specials and festivals in Canada and the United States.
